Catlin Whitington
February 10, 2021 | By Shoal Creek Conservancy
Catlin Whitington is dedicated to the harmonies of events, culture, economics, and the urban environment. As the VP of Campus Operations for the Long Center, he strives to enrich the iconic arts, music and civic space across the river from the mouth of Shoal Creek. A native Austinite, he’s spent many days exploring the spaces along Shoal Creek’s many twists and turns, including hidden skate spots in the watershed’s northern reaches, the trails of Pease park, and the urban interface as it makes its way through Downtown. You might spot Catlin and his family along the trail, enjoying crawfish at Shoal Creek Saloon, or sipping a morning coffee at the Central Library’s amphitheater and plaza.
