What:

Come out with Shoal Creek Conservancy and Austin Youth River Watch to clean-up the Seiders Springs Greenbelt and do some water quality testing!>>You’ll need to register on the GivePulse event page here for this volunteer clean-up event!<<
SCC and AYRW are joining forces for APF’s 2019 spring It’s My Park Day! All activities are taking place at Seider Springs and we’ll be doing both a Shoal Creek Trail clean-up (including trash pick-up, weeding, graffiti abatement, etc) event as well as water quality testing. Austin Parks Foundation will be co-hosting the event & providing t-shirts to all registered volunteers.

Please bring a water bottle, and wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty (or wet, if you’re doing water testing). Street parking is available in the area, or we recommend you carpool, bike, or use public transportation. We’ll be meeting at 9:30am at the southern entrance of Seider Springs Park, which is located along 34th Street.

***In case of lightning or flash flood warnings, the workday will be cancelled. In the case of light to medium rain, please check your email as well as the Shoal Creek Conservancy’s Facebook page and website. We will decide whether to cancel the event no less than one hour before start time.***
