Join us early for this Earth Day celebration and help make a positive impact on your city’s environmental health. We will be kayaking the Colorado River and picking up trash along the shore and in the water, as well as making seed balls to keep our rivers and lakes happy, healthy, and fertile! Adults and kids welcome (children must kayak with an adult).
Please be sure to register below as there are only 30 kayaks (either single or double) available to be used (thanks to Congress Avenue Kayaks!) The first 45 attendees will receive a specific email with instructions on what to bring and where to meet for the event on 4/20.
All other volunteers will meet at 9:30am at the southern mouth of Shoal Creek, at Lady Bird Lake to do trash pickup on land or make seedballs.
When:April 20th, 2019
