UPDATED DATE: On November 4th (NO LONGER on 10/20 due to flooding concerns) we’re hosting a FREE beginner’s Tree Identification Hike, in partnership with TreeFolks and the the City of Austin. Please meet under the Butterfly Bridge on the Shoal Creek Trail by the Central Library (710 W Cesar Chavez St, Austin 78701) at 10am.

Representatives from Shoal Creek Conservancy will talk about trail stewardship and nature in the city, while TreeFolks will explain the basics of tree identification along the Shoal Creek Trail. Feel free to attend whether you want to brush up on your tree knowledge or dive into your new world of tree identification.

Please wear close-toed shoes and bring lots of water. Refreshments will be provided. All ages are welcome! We’ll see you there!
