The Shoal Creek Ambassadors serve as the citizen leaders for Shoal Creek Conservancy and the Shoal Creek Greenbelt in the Austin community. These volunteers help lead our volunteer service days, plan activities to encourage community interactions along the creek and trail, dream up creative new ideas to keep Shoal Creek accessible and inclusive, and more!

We’ll be having a Creek Clean-up specifically for people interested in being a part of this emerging group of volunteer leaders on Saturday January 26th, at 9:30am (location TBD). It will be trash pick-up only and include an informal “info-session” to learn more about the ambassador program.

The perks for being a Shoal Creek Ambassador are many! You’ll be encircled by a great network of local environmentalists, leaders, and volunteers, you’ll be the first to know about SCC events, get a free SCC t-shirt, discounts on tickets to fundraising events, and more. The suggested donation to be involved is $40 per person or $60 per household.

If you’re interested in getting involved and meeting new people who also love urban green space, email Shoal Creek Ambassadors at [email protected]shoalcreekconservancy.org
