Thanks National Public Lands Day Volunteers
September 29, 2014 | By Shoal Creek Conservancy
Thank you to the 120+ volunteers the joined us on Shoal Creek on Saturday for National Public Lands Day! We had a record number of folks working on the trail between 3rd and 15th Streets, including groups from Cirrus Logic, the Real Estate Council of Austin, Austin Ridge Riders, Shoal Creek Conservancy, the Junior League of Austin, Southwest Airlines and more. Together we transformed the creek and trail – from picking up trash to mulching trees to clearing flood debris. Nice work and thank you again!
