What:

Join Shoal Creek Conservancy and John Simmerman of Active Towns for a beginner-friendly bike ride along the Shoal Creek Blvd protected bike lanes on March 11th from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. This will be a perfect opportunity to learn more about the City of Austin’s growing network of alternative transportation routes, how Austin’s infrastructure and culture of activity compare to other cities globally, and the Shoal Creek watershed!

Participants will need to bring their own bikes and helmets. The bike route will have some changes in elevation, is entirely on paved surfaces, and is ~ 10 miles long with several stops for discussions and water breaks.

Please be sure to bring water and snacks if needed. All ages are welcome, with supervision.
