The Shoal Creek Social is Shoal Creek Conservancy’s largest, annual celebration and fundraiser. Our team works year-round to organize volunteer cleanups, creekside restoration, educational tours and advocacy for trail and water quality improvements along Shoal Creek, and we depend on donations and sponsorships to support these efforts.

October 26th Creekside Hangout

Join us in Duncan Park on Saturday, October 26th for free, family-friendly games, giveaways, and outdoor fun along the Shoal Creek Trail. Make-your-own native seed packet, learn about Creek and Trail projects, take a guided tour or listen to the Shoal Creek Audio Walking Tour, relax in the Picnic Zone, spoil your dog with treats, enjoy refreshments and more. No registration is needed – just stop by the park between 9am-1pm. (900 W. 9th Street, Austin, TX 78701)

During this 2-week campaign, we organize the free “Creekside Hangout” event to introduce our community to Shoal Creek & SCC’s programs.
