Learn more about how rain gardens improve water quality, increase plant and wildlife biodiversity, and how you can get involved with Shoal Creek Conservancy’s Rain Garden Adoption Program. Come hang out, and enjoy some giveaways and resources that will help you grow your gardening skills!
As a non-profit, we rely not only on the generous support of our members but also on our dedicated volunteers’ efforts. We have room for you to join the team this fall to help establish and maintain the three newly constructed rain gardens along Shoal Creek Blvd. During this open house, we’ll share details about this exciting volunteer opportunity and show how much fun it is to become a rain garden adopter!
This free event will be held at Tudor Cottage, which is located on the hillside just west of the play structures at Kingsbury Commons in Pease Park (suggested parking).
