What:

Join Shoal Creek Conservancy and MetroBike for a beginner-friendly bike ride along the Shoal Creek Trail and the Shoal Creek Blvd protected bikeway on June 10th from 7:30 am – 9:30 am. This will be a perfect opportunity to learn more about the City of Austin’s growing network of alternative transportation routes and the Shoal Creek watershed!

Participants are welcome to bring their own bike if prefered, but this is not required. MetroBike is generously covering the rental costs of e-bikes for all tour registrants. A helmet is strongly encouraged but will not be provided by MetroBike or SCC, so please bring one to ensure the ride is fun and safe! The bike route will have some changes in elevation, is almost entirely on paved surfaces, and is ~ 10 miles long with several stops for discussions and water breaks.

Please be sure to wear a mask, bring water, and snacks if needed. All ages are welcome, with supervision, but please be advised that MetroBike’s e-bikes are adult-sized.
