What:
Join Shoal Creek Conservancy and Travis Audubon Society for a morning of plirding. Inspired by plogging, which is picking up litter while jogging, plirding is picking up litter while birding! Together, we will observe birds and remove litter and recyclables that pose a risk to the wildlife that call Shoal Creek home. We will provide all tools and supplies for the cleanup, but please bring water and snacks if needed. Beginners and experienced birders are welcome. We will have some binoculars to share. All ages are welcome, with supervision. Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and dress for the weather.
