What:

Enjoy a peaceful morning of watercolor along the Shoal Creek Trail at Duncan Park, led by artist Jaime Reynolds. The session begins with a 60-minute grounding watercolor practice, using the surrounding landscape as inspiration. No experience necessary—just an openness to observe and play.

Attendees will also enjoy a guided walk along Shoal Creek with Jameson Courtney and Katina Butler Bohrer from the City of Austin’s Watershed Protection Department. Topics will include the basics of stream morphology, how floodplains form, and an overview of gages used to measure rainfall, stream flow, and stage.

Materials provided, but supplies are limited. All levels welcome, ages 12 and up.
