Logistics:

Location specifics, including parking options, will be sent to tour registrants by email by Saturday, April 12th at 5:30pm. If you register after that time, please start your tour at the Woodview Rain Garden and you’ll receive all the details there!

  • On Sunday, April 13th, begin at any of the four tour stops, anytime between 10am and 3pm. There is no single meeting time or place, so feel free to tour the stops in any order and at any time that work best for you.
  • If you did not received an email specifying each location, just start at the Woodview Rain Garden at the intersection of Woodview Ave and Shoal Creek Blvd, anytime between 10am and 3pm. Parking is available along W 47th Street, Shoalwood Ave, W 49th Street, or Woodview Ave. There, you can pick up your program (aka Passport) which details the locations of the other three tour stops.
  • At your first tour stop, please check in with SCC staff or volunteers to verify your ticket purchase with your name and confirmation email, or to buy your day-of ticket. At each subsequent tour stop, show your program for a Passport stamp and entry to the property.
  • Each location will have a bike rack if you would like to leave your car at home and cycle! Ghisallo Cycling Initiative’s guided ride (view bike route here) begins at Rosedale School at 11:30am, with wheels down at 12:00pm. Registration for this guided ride is still open, so please sign up here.
  • Bring water, snacks, and sun protection. Wear shoes for walking on sidewalks, grass, and gravel, and please dress for the weather – we expect warm, sunny conditions on Sunday.

We understand that some individuals may be unable to attend due to financial constraints. If the cost of this event is prohibitive for you, please contact info@shoalcreekconservancy.
