The Shoal Creek Social is Shoal Creek Conservancy’s largest, annual celebration and fundraising event, and it’s coming to you this year with a free, family-friendly activities along the Shoal Creek Trail.
Creekside Hangouts
Back again for the 3rd year in a row – the Creekside Hangouts are 2 weekends of free games, giveaways, and outdoor fun along the Shoal Creek Trail!
Saturday, September 3rd, 9am-1pm
- Northwest District Park-South, 6600 Shoal Creek Blvd
w/ refreshments, SCC project info & kids tent, Austin Subaru showroom, Austin Board of Realtors Culture of Austin station, HEB activities & snacks and REI camp lounge
Saturday, September 10th, 9am-1pm
- Duncan Park, 900 W 9th Street
w/ refreshments, SCC project info & kids tent, HEB activities & snacks and Cirrus Logic craft & seed ball station
- Urbanspace/Shoal Creek Trail, 301 West Avenue
w/ Cypress and Shoal Creek project information from SCC & Downtown Austin Alliance and a free coffee or cocktail at Codependent

The Shoal Creek Social is our largest, annual fundraiser. During this 2-week campaign, we organize free events to introduce folks to Shoal Creek & SCC’s programs. We appreciate donations that will support our year-round work for the Creek and Trail.
