SCC completes certification to monitor water quality at a site on Shoal Creek

July 14, 2025  | By Shoal Creek Conservancy

SCC staff members have been busy over the last few months. We are now officially certified through Texas Stream Team and the Colorado River Watch Network in water quality testing and will be conducting water quality monitoring at site 237 on Shoal Creek, just south of 34th Street and the Seiders Springs greenbelt. Find past data on the water quality at this site via the Colorado River Watch Network, then use their interactive map to see all the past and current monitoring sites beyond Shoal Creek and throughout the entire Colorado River basin.

We’re excited to be taking this next step towards a healthier Shoal Creek! If you are interested in becoming a citizen scientist and certified water quality monitor for a Central Texas waterway, reach out to Texas Stream Team ([email protected]) today.
