A Busy Three Months at the Conservancy

April 16, 2014  | By Shoal Creek Conservancy

Yesterday, the Conservancy board met for the third time – marking the end of the first six months of the organization’s life and the end of the second quarter in our first fiscal year (January to March 31, 2014). And what a past three months it has been! At the meeting, we presented to the board a list of accomplishments, big and small, from this time period. We are honored and excited to share it with you all as well. Please take a look and feel free to contact us with any questions regarding these activities. We hope you are as excited as we are about this great progress.

Interested in learning more about particular projects underway along the creek? We’ve created a short one-pager describing our Historic 6th Street Bridge Project, Pilot Mural Series Project and Bamboo Removal and Restoration Project as well as other select projects. This information will soon appear on a projects page of our newly designed website, but until then, we welcome you to take a look at the document by downloading it here.

Sincerely,

Joanna Wolaver, Executive Director  & the Shoal Creek Conservancy Intern Team
