Darcy Nuffer

Darcy Nuffer is a landscape architect and is currently the Landscape Architecture Studio manager at WGI in Austin, where she works on public and private projects throughout Texas. She received a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, where she focused on landscape restoration and sustainable design, and before that a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan. As both a designer and a writer, she strives to tell meaningful stories that connect us back to the natural world. Growing up along  the lakes and coastlines of Michigan, she developed a deep connection to water that has been a continuous thread throughout her career. She has worked on stream restoration, green stormwater infrastructure, and parks projects throughout Austin, including several within the Shoal Creek Watershed.
