Diving Deeper into Water Management

October 20, 2016  | By Shoal Creek Conservancy

We are very pleased to announce Andy Sobchak will be guest blogging this fall, covering all topics related to water management. Andy is a water resources engineer, writer and photographer and has worked on water projects in the United States, Canada and Africa. He has been a volunteer with the Conservancy for several years and was our Interim General Manager in 2015.

Flooding is a core concern of the Conservancy and with the City of Austin’s recent release of the Flood Mitigation Task Force final report and initiation of the Shoal Creek Flood Mitigation Study, we are excited to have Andy help deconstruct challenges facing our watershed.

If you have any questions about water management in Shoal Creek – or in general – send Andy a message through [email protected]. You may see your question featured in an upcoming post!
