SCC Board of Directors Welcomes New Members

We are very excited to welcome Kristin Chiles and Jonanna Winkler Mikulenka to the Shoal Creek Conservancy Board of Directors. Kristin and Jonanna are both highly experienced in their respective fields and will be wonderful assets to our team.
Kristin Chiles is a certified LEED AP and has served as the Real Estate Project Executive for Google since 2011.
Kristin’s background in commercial interior design began in 1997 at Michigan State University (MSU) where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. During her time at MSU, Kristin studied architecture and interior design in England and France. While overseas, she also spent six months on a solo adventure exploring Switzerland, Malawi, and Zimbabwe.
After graduation, Kristin managed, designed, and produced end-user based commercial interior projects as an interior designer and project manager for Susman Tisdale Gayle, from 1998 to 2004.
In 2004, Kristin spent a year expanding her interior design and project management experience working for Reh Knowles Partners. She then advanced to Senior Project Manager at CB Richard Ellis in 2005 where she managed a team of four project managers for the next five years until her transition to Google.
Outside of work, Kristin shares her time volunteering for Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Texas, serves as a board member for the Downtown Austin Alliance and is a GooglersGive Project Leader.

Jonanna Winkler Mikulenka is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has served as the Corporate Controller for Cirrus Logic, Inc. since 2005.
Jonanna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 1993. She continued her education at The University of Texas at Arlington where she graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1996.
Upon completing her undergraduate education, Jonanna landed a position as a Cost Accountant for Cummins Southern Plains, Inc. in Arlington from 1994 to 1996.
In 1996, Jonanna moved to Houston where she served as an Interim Assistant Controller and Senior Accountant for Tyco International Ltd., until 1998.
Jonanna added Austin to her portfolio in 1998 after accepting a new position at Southern Union Company as a Senior Accounting Manager. In her new role, Jonanna was responsible for managing and maintaining the fixed asset system for a billion dollar publicly traded company.
In 2000, Jonanna secured her first position at Cirrus Logic Inc., as a staff accountant. From then on, she has climbed the ranks at Cirrus, serving as a Financial Reporting and Travel Services Manager from 2001 to 2004, then as a Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting Senior Manager from 2004 to 2005, and presently, as the Corporate Controller.
Outside of the office, Jonanna serves as an Advisory Chair for the SEC Professionals Group- Austin Chapter, and is member of the Texas Society of CPA’s- Austin Chapter.
Jonanna has gained over 25 years of professional accounting-related experience and we’re very excited to utilize her prowess on our team.
