Shoal Creek Celebration with SeVana Marimba
July 29, 2014 | By Shoal Creek Conservancy
Shoal Creek Conservancy is hosting a Summer Celebration on Friday, August 8th at Duncan Park, located downtown at 900 W. 9th Street. You’re invited to this free public event from 7 to 8:30 p.m. featuring a performance from SeVana Marimba, with bat watching to follow at sunset. SeVana Marimba will provide beautiful sounds of the world as they play high-energy, traditional Zimbabwean music on their giant wooden xylophones. Bring your family, a picnic dinner, and come enjoy live music on this summer evening. For more information on SeVana Marimba, visit www.sevanamarimba.com.
