The Shoal Creek Conservancy is hosting a series of walks along the creek this October. The topics are eclectic – birds, bridges, bats.
Next weekend we will visit the historic bridges of Shoal Creek. To help prime participants for the walk, I have gathered my images of the Shoal Creek bridges in a portfolio. The collection includes not only my images but archival photos and information as well. Are you interested in the New Deal? Are you curious about how these fascinating public works were funded? Check out the new Shoal Creek portfolio linked below, then join us October 26, 2013, to visit these structures in person.
